Greenwich, CT (September 20, 2019) – The 2019 season at Greenwich Polo Club capped off with a thrilling East Coast Open victory by Postage Stamp Farm (Annabelle Gundlach, Brandon Phillips, Lerin Zubiaurre and Tomas Garcia del Rio), adding their name for the first time to the historical Perry Trophy, amongst many of the game's greatest. In the final, Postage Stamp Farm defeated Monterosso by a score of 12-10 in front of a record Sunday crowd, with perfect weather and completely packed East and West lawns. In a season that saw 13 teams competing in four tournaments, there were only a pair that claimed titles this summer. The Island House (Peter Holowesko, Toro Ruiz, Santino Magrini and Peke Gonzalez) started off the season in dominating form, winning both the Shreve, Crump & Low Cup and the Monty Waterbury respectively, behind strong performances by young-gun Toro Ruiz who earned multiple MVP awards in route to the victories.
