Empire Polo Club is gearing up for the 2011-2012 Polo Season. We would like to highlight a few of the new events and tournaments that we have added to the schedule.
Fall Arena Tournaments
Join us on Thanksgiving Weekend as we kick-off our pre-season with the USPA Arena Masters Tournament, Women's Arena Qualifier (WCT) Tournament, Thanksgiving Challenge Tournament and our Junior All-Stars Event. We have arena polo all weekend long Friday - Sunday, so come on out and join us for our first pre-season tournament series at the Empire Polo Stadium on Ave. 51 behind the Tack Room Tavern Restaurant.
This year Empire is pleased to announce the addition of two new Women's Arena Tournaments. A WCT Arena Qualifier and the WCT Arena Finals, a national event. Opening Day & Hat Day is Sunday, January 8th, 2012. Games are at 12:00 and 200 PM.
Empire Polo & Wine Festivalis Sunday, January 29th, 2012. When wine is paired with world-class polo a perfect balance is achieved ... a blend of sophistication, flavor and excitement.
The 1st Annual Empire Polo & Wine Festival will feature 12 - 15 wineries that will pour samples of handcrafted wine produced in the Temecula Valley. The wine tasting is coupled with music and a traditional day of Sunday Polo featuring two polo games and a halftime champagne divot stomp sponsored by Wilson Creek.
