Under bright spring sunshine, Ladbrokes Chester Cup Day brought the Boodles May Festival to a thrilling close, with a vibrant atmosphere both on and off the track.
The feature race of the day was the prestigious Ladbrokes Chester Cup and was won by East India Dock, trained by James Owen and ridden by Harry Davies. A historic moment for Harry, as he becomes the first jockey since 2005 to win back-to-back Ladbrokes Chester Cups.
Off the track, the energy was just as high. Thousands of racegoers descended on the racecourse to enjoy not only the racing, but the exciting activities provided by our fabulous sponsors and partners.
