POLO de Deauville 2011 - la Lucien Barrière Polo

C’est le plus grand tournoi de France : la Lucien Barrière Polo Cup avec sa Coupe d’Or est une référence dans le monde international du polo. Un titre que les grands joueurs professionnels tiennent à accrocher à leur palmarès. Adolfo Cambiaso, Alberto, Bautista, Ruso Heguy, Gonzalo, Gonzalito et Facundo Pieres, Milo Fernandez Araujo etc., tous d’anciens vainqueur sdu mythique Open d’Argentine de Palermo ont également gagné à Deauville. Cette année, un de ces joueurs de légende, le jeune Hilario Ulloa, tentera d’ajouter son nom à cette liste. Deauville: The Summit of the French Season

It has been going on for half a century: All the great names of polo stop by in Deauville for the Lucien Barrière Polo Cup. The Gold Cup belongs to the coveted trophies that polo players want to take home at all costs. This year, four names stand out of an already exceptional participants list: two former Argentinean Champions and handicap 10s, Lucas Monteverde and Milo Fernandez, as well as one of the extraordinarily gifted players of the rising generation, Hilario Ulloa, today a handicap 9 but certainly soon a “10”, and Pancho Bensadon, a handicap 8 who qualified his team Allegria for the Argentinean Open for the last three years.
